All personal data is processed on this basis.
The controller responsible for data processing is the COMPANY OR PERSON (office@hotel-messmer.at).
Information Obligations (Articles 13 and 14 GDPR)
Your personal data includes:
- your master data (name, first name, address, email address, telephone and fax number, date of birth, customer number) as well as language and vehicle license plate number,
- the data contained in travel documents provided (passport number, passport details, date of birth, issuing authority, validity, nationality) and identification documents (ID card, driver’s license, etc., including issuing authority and validity),
- data related to payment methods and transactions, particularly involving debit cards, credit cards, and bank cards,
- the length of stay you requested and related information such as destinations, hotels, contacts, conditions, special services, health data, frequent flyer numbers, and personal preferences you share with us,
- special categories of data such as health-related information, data about special needs, and marital or partnership status.
This data is required for us to provide our services. This includes bookings for travel, tour guides, restaurants, rental cars, transfers, registration procedures, insurance, events, tours, accreditations, vouchers including customer registration, billing, and verification (B2B, B2C, FIT), and ticket bookings.
We therefore store, process, and, if necessary, transmit this data to third parties with whom we collaborate to provide our customers with the most effective and optimal service possible. This may include service providers in third countries acting as processors, as well as software and agency service providers.
The legal basis for these data processing activities includes:
- the fulfillment of our pre-contractual and contractual obligations toward you,
- your consent,
- our legal, contractual, or other legal obligations (e.g. documentation requirements under accounting, tax and customs law, contract and registration obligations, legal disputes),
- § 96 of the Telecommunications Act (TKG), and
- our legitimate interests (e.g. improving customer service, including direct marketing, or the protection of our own legal rights).
The duration of data storage depends on the length of our business relationship, the consents you have given, and also on legal retention requirements and other legal obligations applicable to us. In the case of ongoing cooperation, we aim to know and remember your preferences as best as possible in order to provide you with continuous and lasting satisfaction.

We use this access data for internal statistical purposes, to ensure the security of our services, and to optimize our offerings. In the event of suspected unlawful activity, access data will be reviewed for evidence purposes.
By entering your personal data into one of our contact forms, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of this data by us for the duration of handling your specific request. This particularly applies to inquiries via contact form, chat, and emails you send us.
