At Hotel Messmer at the Kornmarkt in Bregenz, sustainable practices are firmly rooted in our philosophy. We rely on regional and Austrian products, maintain long-standing partnerships with local suppliers, and are actively committed to environmental protection. Our initiatives range from using certified cleaning products and sourcing green electricity to switching to LED lighting. Together with our staff and guests, we are shaping an environmentally conscious future.

Since July 2023, the Hotel Messmer on Kornmarkt has held the Austrian Ecolabel in the categories Green Hotel, Green Restaurant, and Green Location, as well as the EU Ecolabel.

At our hotel bar, you can enjoy wines from the surrounding region. Most of our wines come from Austria, complemented by a selection of fine international wines.

Our juices come from Rauch, a company based in Vorarlberg.

At Hotel Messmer, we are committed to sustainable solutions. Our electricity comes 100% from renewable sources provided by Illwerke VKW – a company that, like us, stands for environmental protection and energy efficiency.

Throughout the entire hotel, we use energy-saving LED lighting. For eco-friendly travel, an electric charging station is available right at the hotel. Simply recharge and continue your journey with ease.

Location & Arrival

Cleaning products

Our cleaning products come from the company WAP in Stallehr. Most of these products are certified with the European or Austrian Ecolabel.
They are primarily purchased as concentrates in 5–10 liter canisters and are diluted with water on-site.

Water

Our drinking water comes from the protected water area of Mehrerauerwald, drawn from depths of up to 30 meters.

Accessibility Statement

Spacious and stylish, this approximately 20 m² room offers a comfortable retreat. Unwind in the cozy seating area at the end of the day. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower.

Accessible Room Features:
Ground-level hotel entrance, wheelchair-accessible shower, shower seat, grab bars in the shower and at the toilet, accessible sink.

Please note that accessible rooms can only be booked upon direct request.
The room is located in the ground-level section of the hotel and is accessed via a separate entrance around the building.
